Privacy Policy

Reservation data. When you register for the retreat, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, number of spots, dietary preferences, and any other information you voluntarily provide in the registration form (including your reasons for attending and how you heard about us).

Payment data. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never see, store, or have access to your full card number or CVV.

Contact form data. If you send us a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email, and message content.

Usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically collect standard server-log information (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL) for security and performance purposes. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

We use the information you provide to:

• Process and confirm your retreat reservation
• Send you confirmation emails, retreat updates, and a pre-arrival welcome packet
• Accommodate your dietary preferences and wellness needs during the retreat
• Respond to questions or support requests you send us
• Improve our events and communication based on feedback

We will only contact you about matters directly related to your reservation or future VEDA by Sonia events. We do not send unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We share your information only with the service providers who help us operate the retreat:

• Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
• Maryville Retreat Center — your name and dietary needs are shared with the venue to arrange accommodations and meals
• Email provider (Gmail/Google) — used to send transactional confirmation emails

All providers are required to handle your information securely and only for the purpose of delivering their service.

We retain your reservation data for up to 3 years after the retreat date for accounting, legal, and operational purposes. Contact form messages are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see below).

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data (subject to any legal retention obligations)
• Withdraw consent for communications at any time

Our website uses only essential, first-party cookies required for the site to function (e.g., security tokens for form submissions). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Our website is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe on their PCI-compliant infrastructure. We take reasonable administrative and technical precautions to protect the information you share with us.

This retreat is designed for adult women. Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the “Effective” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
