This retreat is open to women aged 18 and older. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. VEDA by Sonia reserves the right to decline or cancel a registration that does not meet eligibility criteria, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Activities at the retreat include yoga, Pilates, meditation, breathwork, outdoor walks, and water activities. Participation in any activity is entirely voluntary. You are responsible for knowing your own physical limitations.

By registering, you confirm that you are in adequate health to participate in a wellness retreat of this nature. If you have a medical condition, recent injury, or any concern that could affect your participation, please consult your healthcare provider before attending and notify us at info@vedabysonia.com in advance.

VEDA by Sonia is not a medical provider. Nothing at the retreat constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Participation in the retreat and its activities involves inherent physical risks. By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to: personal injury, illness, property damage, or any other loss.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless VEDA by Sonia, Sonia Karwal, Cynthia Mullins, Maryville Retreat Center, and their respective agents, staff, and volunteers from any claim, damage, or liability arising from your participation in the retreat.

This retreat is a safe, inclusive, and supportive space. We ask all attendees to:

• Treat fellow participants, staff, and faculty with respect and kindness
• Honour the confidentiality of personal stories shared during group sessions
• Arrive on time and engage with the schedule considerately
• Refrain from behaviour that is disruptive, discriminatory, or harmful to others
• Respect the retreat venue, its property, and the natural surroundings

VEDA by Sonia reserves the right to ask any attendee to leave the retreat without refund if their conduct is deemed harmful to others or to the integrity of the event.

We make every effort to accommodate dietary needs disclosed at the time of registration (vegetarian, gluten-free, common allergies). However, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us prior to the event and consult your physician.

VEDA by Sonia may photograph or video record portions of the retreat for use in future marketing and social media content. By attending, you grant us permission to use images in which you may appear, unless you notify us in writing before or at the event that you wish to opt out. Individual portraits will not be used without separate consent.

Out of respect for all attendees, please request permission before posting photos of other participants to your own social media.

VEDA by Sonia and Maryville Retreat Center are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought to the retreat. Please leave valuables at home when possible.

Cancellation and refund terms are governed by our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

The retreat schedule and facilitators are planned well in advance, but VEDA by Sonia reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the programme, schedule, or facilitators without notice. We will communicate significant changes to registered attendees promptly.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oakland County, Michigan.
